We had to take my Mum to Heathrow Airport yesterday morning and on the way back, decided to go through the city as a more 'scenic' route home. I must admit, I'm a bit of a geek for London because I absolutely love it there and enjoy the fact it is right on our doorstep! The arcitecture of the buildings both old and new are stunning from the Gherkin to the Tower of London to Buckingham Palace and just in case you had forgotten the London 2012 Olympics are just around the corner, travelling through the city will certainly remind you!

Our cities are one thing I do love about England actually, they are fantastic with amazing buildings and sites. Liverpool is another of my favourite cities, it is amazing! With fabulous nightlife and restaurants as well as breathtaking buildings and great tourist attractions.

We may have crap weather but we build great cities!
