LIFE | Before children VS After children.
Who can relate to these then?
- Gets invited out last minute on a Saturday night before having kids and goes out.
- Gets invited out last minute on a Saturday night after having kids and desperately phones around every relative and friend to see if someone can sit. Begs, pleads, offers money, food, jewellery and a kidney but to no avail.
- Buys a Sunday paper before having kids and reads it on Sunday morning.
- Buys a Sunday paper after having kids and reads it on Sunday morning..... three weeks later.
- Wears a white dress to a family party before having kids and leaves at the end of the night with a white dress.
- Wears a white dress to a family party after having kids and leaves at the end of the night with a white dress splattered with juice, food and all in between.
- Has hair done every six weeks before having kids.
- Has hair done every year after having kids.
- Makes self a cup of tea before having kids and drinks it while hot.
- Makes self a cup of tea after having kids and drinks it cold after umpteen attempts to try and drink lukewarm ones.
- Doing housework before having kids consists of polishing, dusting, scrubbing and hoovering every single nook, cranny and corner of the house til it sparkled.
- Doing housework after having kids consists of quickly shoving things in places out of sight, running the hoover round and febreezing.
- Goes shopping before having kids and treats self to new clothes.
- Goes shopping after having kids and treats child to new clothes.
- Hums the latest songs from the radio whilst doing every day things before having kids.
- Hums the tune from Sofia the First whilst doing every day things after having kids.
- Uses the word 'no' a handful of times a day before having kids.
- Uses the word 'no' every other minute of the day after having kids.
- Hates having to go food shopping alone while other half stays at home before having kids.
- LOVES going food shopping alone while other half stays at home with child(ren) after having kids. (Alone time is precious no matter where it is!)
- Falls asleep in front of Family Guy at about 11.12pm before having kids.
- Falls asleep in front of the second bill of Corrie at about 8.42pm after having kids.
- Enjoys a lay in til 9am on a Saturday morning before kids.
- Enjoys a lay in til 7am on a Saturday morning after kids.

Tehe, this was a funny read! I don't have kids yet but i work in childcare so i can appreciate most of them, although its not quite the same as having your own at home!

Bet you have been covered in goodness knows what though haven't you?! I reckon you're well prepared for when the time comes! Just make sure when you plan to leave the house you start getting ready about 2 hours before ;) ;) xx
