As previously mentioned, I decided to invest in some key items for SS14 and for after having my baby as an incentive for getting back to my post pregnancy body.
I shared my first five buys with you and what I liked about them, here are the last five items I invested in:
Boohoo Strappy midi dress
Another midi length dress, I do love them! I bought a strappy grey speckle dress in an above the knee length from Topshop aaaaages ago which I still love. It is simple and something you can wear again and again however, I had also seen the dress in a midi length and never bought one which I really regretted. Browsing on boohoo.com the other week, I spotted this beauty! Straight away I had to buy it (the fact there was a code for free next day delivery made me realise it was meant to be too!) I wanted it in black as it is a 'safe' colour which to me is a necessity when buying an item you intend to wear again and again through the seasons. I can't wait to wear this on hot days with a hat and sunglasses while taking baby for a stroll down the seafront. RRP: £10.
Topshop Quilted Floral Skater Dress
This caught my eye online and I ended up buying it in store after seeing how lovely it was in real life (not that I doubted it seeing it online) I love the colours and the classic skater style and shape of the dress and I also love the quilted texture of the fabric. Very on trend for SS14!! RRP: £32
River Island Yellow Boxy Tee
How gorgeous is this colour? Perfect for hot weather! I am always a bit unsure when it comes to yellow and always think it doesn't suit my skin tone but time will tell whether I can pull this off or not. I couldn't resist it especially because of the floral detail around the bottom. RRP: £22
(Please excuse the creases from it being hung in my wardrobe!)

River Island Black Exposed Zip Top
I have wanted a top like this for a while, it is a classic shape and cut and perfect for nights out. I love the different tone of the different materials together and the exposed zip detail on the back. It will look great over dark skinny jeans with bright heels or metallic trousers (although I am not in a hurry to invest in a pair of those yet, will see how the bod looks after pregnancy!) RRP: £20
River Island Daisy Print Dress
I had had my eye on this dress for ages and then caught sight of it in the sale so knew I had to snap it up. It has a lovely 1960's feel to it and also a girly, floral, tea dress feel to it too which is of course what attracted me. I also think it is a flattering shape for those 'fat days' because it isn't clingy - and no doubt I will have quite a few of them at first! RRP: £32 - SALE: £20
That's it for my purchases!! What do you think of what I have bought?
