Happy New Year one and all!! Here we are then...2014! Hope everyone saw in the new year in style and is feeling positive about what the next 365 days will bring.

I haven't made any resolutions this year.... I am not sure why really, I think because my main focus now is to get prepared in every which way possible for the baby. Now the Christmas holidays are pretty much done and dusted we need to get the last bits together (which are also the main bits like furniture) I also want to read my baby book now too, as I worried if I read stuff too early I would forget it all once parenthood hit. (Parenthood!! Woah.... scary....).

Other than that I have blog resolutions which are to get a new and better camera (inspired by baby's arrival but will of course benefit my blog) and work even harder at promoting it. Apart from being a new mum, blogging will be my job and I want to do the best I can by it in every way.

My hubby also gave me the perfect idea for  a book so I finally have an exciting idea I am going to start on this week! I have had so many book ideas that come and go whether they are real life inspired or fiction but I lose focus and inspiration and then they end up on the back burner, this one is perfect and again fits in with the year I have ahead so I am very excited to get going!!
