Today's post is beauty one, not something I do very often at all on my blog (I like to leave them to the beauty blogging experts) however I do frequently like to part my money and purse in order of a good beauty buy so was quite looking forward to writing this!!

I am sooooo overdue jumping on the MAC Lipstick bandwagon that it is actually embarrassing. Especially as I am both a huge fan of MAC and a huge fan of lipstick, it just doesn't make sense as to why I have left it so long! But I did.

Anyways, at the airport a couple of weeks ago I finally broke the seal and bought my first MAC lippy; the ever so popular 'Candy Yum Yum' shade. I couldn't help but fall in love with it because I love a pink lippy and having seen it on various other bloggers and how gorgeous the colour looked I knew it had to be mine!

I think there are great lower priced lipsticks out there on the high street - I particularly love RIMMEL - and had also read mixed reviews on MAC lipsticks (which could be what put me off buying one for so long maybe?) therefore I wasn't quite sure what to expect with it or whether I would be disappointed but I was very impressed. It feels really nice on, not heavy and it doesn't dry out your lips like some lipsticks do. It also lasts well, on one night while we were out on holiday I went to reapply before looking in the mirror and my husband asked me why when it hadn't faded? Result!
