Sometimes the simplest item of clothing or simplest outfit catches your eye and you fall in love. (Or in my case simplest, funkiest, fashionable, classic, cheap, expensive, this season, last season....yada yada) I bought this dress last Spring from Topshop (where else?) because I loved the look and colour of it. I felt because of it's basic shape it wouldn't ever really be a key 'fashion / trend' item and so wouldn't ever go out of fashion and therefore be banished to the back of my wardrobe or to Ebay. I still love it as much now as I did when I bought it.

On a humid or hot summer's day just like we have been having it is perfect for looking stylish and keeping it simple and on cooler days you could wear it with a long sleeved top or a shirt underneath. I have worn it with casual summer heels or flats just like I am here. I have worn it with converse or with tights and ankle boots in the spring or autumn. The possibilities are endless!

I think it is the perfect, simple, cute and girly dress!
