Is summer finally here?

This last week has been glorious and the weekend is meant to be as well!

Everything seems so much better when the sun is shining doesn't it? Driving to work because you can turn your music up and have your windows down... even being at work can seem better... you might long to be at the beach or in a pub garden rather than at your desk but even so, there is nothing better than feeling the warmth of the sun through the window, beaming into the room and lighting it up.

Even the smell of summer is amazing! Cut grass, flowers, BBQ's.... need I go on?

Despite the fact I have in recent years started suffering hayfever I still love it. I can deal with itchy eyes and an itchy nose....even the sneezes! Nothing beats eating dinner outside of an evening or having the door open at work and letting the sun in! Nothing beats it still being light outside late into the evening or that feeling of 'we could do anything' that summer brings rather the feeling of lathargy that dark winter weather can bring.

Please please please let the sunshine last Mr Weatherman! I dont want to feel chilly now until about October...by which time we will be BBQ'd out, beer garden'd out and happy to spend some cosy nights indoors chilling  having had lots of summer adventures.
