A 'weekend outfit' post on a Wednesday evening is extremely late indeed but I have only just managed to get my hands on these pictures having thought I had lost them forever when my phone was sent off for repair. Luckily, despite it being pretty much restored to its factory settings they survived! (I couldn't back the phone up as the input where the charger goes had broken so it wasn't recognised in my laptop).

Anyway! I had a fabulous weekend! On Saturday we made our way to Easy Sussex for the evening with my family as we were going to my cousin's two boys christening early Sunday morning. We had a yummy evening meal and drinks while we all caught up with what eachother had been up to before retiring to our rooms for much needed shut eye around midnight after remembering we needed to be up early to get ready for the day ahead!

After a lovely breakfast we made our way to the church and then back to theirs after for lots of bubbly and lunch. It was fabulous! The only thing with drinking after such an early start was after I think three refills of champagne and two glasses of wine I felt I had had enough and it must be getting late but it was in fact only 1pm! That threw me completely out of whack.

Anyway, I do love getting dressed up for a family event and it was also the first time I got to wear my fabulous new Topshop Gwenda shoes! I teamed them with a Topshop dress I already had and wore out for our first wedding anniversary along with a grey blazer I have had for AGES which I bought from select for about a tenner! I also took out my gorgeous bottle green Mulberry bag too.

It was so nice when the sun finally made an appearance and actually ended up feeling quite warm! This week has been much milder (dare I say) and it finally feels as though summer could be on it's way... I don't want to jinx it though so will say no more on the subject!
