Product Review: Ibeba Natural Skin Revival Serum and Anti Wrinkle Cream

First of all, I would like to say that when it comes to writing reviews I always get a bit nervous.

I obviously still want to be me and not just writing something that sounds like an advert as that is NOT what my blog is about. However, it is quite hard to gush about a product and why it is so good without it sounding like some kind of sales spiel but I always like to give it my best shot! I say 'gush' because I will only ever write a full product review of my own free will over something I have tried, tested and absolutely LOVED.

Let's get to it then shall we?

A while ago I attended the Essex Bloggers first ever meet up which was a wonderful event! I met some amazing people all from different walks of life and different parts of our wonderous county and (I think) it is safe to say I made some lovely new friends.

Us attendees were also extremely lucky to receive a goody bag which our fabulous host Katrina put together for us all.

There were various different product samples ranging from perfume to shampoo and conditioner, some of which I was eager to try straight away more than others. Why? As I am in the 'twilight' part of my twenties I am becoming ever more interested in face creams or facial treatments, especially those of the anti aging variety so naturally those were the kind of products I went rummaging for in my bag of treats. I came across a face serum by Ibeba - DNA repair cell serum to by it's official name - a skin revival treatment which says it will:

  • Inhibit melanin production
  • Repair and promote cell renewal
  • Accelerate skin brightness
  • Reduce Dark spots / age spots and skin pigmentation
  • It also contains SPF protection against UVA/UVB radiation.

Needless to say I slapped some on straight away!!

The sample size is extremely generous, even though I have been using it ever since I got it, I still have quite a bit left and I have to say my skin did appear more brighter for using it. The serum initially makes the skin feel a little tight which I like because I feel as though it is actually doing something under the surface and once it is absorbed my skin feels significantly smoother. Many creams are great at making your skin smooth though aren't they? So I would definitely say the main benefit of this product is how illuminated it makes my skin look. At this time of year you can feel your skin appears tired, grey and dull so this stuff certainly makes you feel better! As I am young and not a sun worshipper I don't have any sun spots or age spots to try it out on however, I do have red patches of skin around delicate areas of my face such as under my nose and while they are still there (they will always be there) I do feel their appearance has improved.

Because I loved it so much, when Ibeba got in touch asking if I would like to review another product I jumped at the chance! I told them my age and that I wanted to find a great anti aging face cream so that is what they sent me.

The cream is called  De-Age anti wrinkle and is also part of their 'skin revival' range just like the serum. I have been using it for about two and a half weeks now and it is luscious! I will be honest and say that I have also been making much more of a conscious effort to buff my face too while in the shower and get rid of dead skin but along with the cream and serum my skin is looking smoother and brighter. A good moisturiser is always needed to go on after a good buffing or to go on in the morning under your make up. My mum always told me that when I was growing up, as did her mum and I have to say that at nearly 80 my nan doesn't half have good skin! This moisturiser has gone lovely under my make up as it is light and a little goes a long way. It smells lovely too which always helps and isn't greasy or heavy. I think this cream along with the serum has definitely improved the appearance of my skin and would continue to use them in the future.

So who are Ibeba Natural?

(Here comes the science....)

If - like me - you hadn't heard of Ibeba previously, you will be pleased to know I had a little look into what they are all about and asked them to tell me a bit more about the company when I initially got in touch.

Ibeba advised me that they take great pride in their scientific knowledge which they have acquired from nearly 20 years experience and advocate natural food additives in combination with the latest biotechnology. They advised me that they invest on research and development looking for improved technology formula and that their core background is in plant and fruit scientific studies.

Their products - as their name suggests - are natural and you will be impressed to learn that their new 'Skin Revival' range has been tested by independent cosmetologists, dermatologists and volunteers with an approval rating of 99.8%.

The message they wanted to get across to me is that Ibeba is an upscale company who use organic ingredients and sell their products at a competitive price.

Without wanting to sound like a broken record - the stuff I have tried so far is bloody marvellous! Which is why I really wanted to write a review off of my own back after having used the serum (then receiving a face cream to review too was a bonus!)

If you are interested in trying some stuff out for yourself then please have a look at their website -

Greasy oil and dead skin cells make pore-clogged for which toxins can’t go out from our skin and that particular areas, as a result, become the perfect breeding ground for bacterial infection and acne blemishes.
