One of my favourite outfit combos.

One benefit to the continuous cold weather for me (yes, despite my moaning I have found one!) has been revamping a dress I usually wear in the summer with flip flops so I can wear it in the winter.

I adore my calf length River Island 'Guns and Roses' dress, I bought it a couple of years ago up in Liverpool when I was in River Island helping my hubby pick out some new high tops. I still love it now as much as I did then - I think I like that it is an alternate summer dress and not a typical maxi dress.

So when I spotted it hanging up in the wardrobe looking lonely I decided I wanted to wear it now and not have to wait for the warmer weather.

I decided to whack it on with a pair of tights, ankle boots and a biker jacket to make it even edgier and take advantage of it's charcoal grey colour. I love it! Casual, comfy and funky.

What do you think?
