I naughtily treated myself to a lippy on Friday despite being desperate for payday to arrive. With one swift swoop upon my lips all guilt was forgotten as I enjoyed the gorgeous colour and moisturinsing caress.

I love pink lipstick and fell for this colour as soon as I lay my eyes on it.... As I walked over to the make up I could hear the sensible voice in my head (or maybe it was my debit card) saying 'NO! Nicki! Turn around and walk away!' Did I listen? Well, the first paragraph of this post answers that question.

I have been so good with my wages since deciding not to spend money on luxuries. Despite paying out pretty much half of my wages in the first week of being paid on decorating and what not I have budgeted really well and made my money last. Most importantly of all, it hasn't been a struggle in fact despite me stating I am desperate for payday, I am quite surprised at how quickly it has come around. Normally the weeks seem to drag and payday feels as though it is never coming but this time it hasn't. Maybe because I wasn't spending so wasn't thinking about money or maybe because I kept myself busy with other things.....who knows! Next month I should have less to pay out for so my budgeting should be even easier. Wahooo!!

Anyway, boring money waffling over.....THIS LIPSTICK! I love it.... It is by 17 and the shade is called 'Pink Power'. It cost £4.29 and was worth every penny indeed. I love the colour and love how moisturised it makes my lips feel! This is going to be my make up bags new best friend!

I also want to get my hands on a candy floss - girly - kinda - light - pink colour lippy so may have to browse the aisles once again at the end of the week in order to find one. I do love a lipstick, they are a brilliant way of adding glamour to any look or outfit. I really was pleasantly surprised by how great this one is especially for £4.29!. It would seem you don't always have to spend lot's of money on lippy to get good value.
