My Topshop Buys: Part One
Cropped tee: £10 Topshop, Grey marl Skater skirt: £16 Topshop
Previously, I had said that I was going to share my festive / holiday buys on here, both my sale items and new season items and as yet, I haven't kept to my word! (slacking!) This post is the start of righting that wrong and sharing my purchases with you.
I am starting with part of my most recent Topshop order because I am just in LOVE with skater skirts at the moment so love this casual grey marl one - it is fabulous. It is comfortable, fits well and will go with so many different tops. I could wear it with converse trainers or ankle boots as I have here - the options are endless! It will see me through until the spring at the very least.
The cropped tee was a daring buy for me, I am not one to flash my flesh especially that flesh in the middle of my body so I did take the plunge! I had seen it in the store and like it's simplicity. I like the 'cut off' finish at the bottom, it reminds me of the 80's! I bought a 12 as that is my size usually and because I am busty I didn't want to chance a 10, however I think a 10 would have been better! As you can see because it is a slouchy T-shirt it is a loose fit. Because of this I am unsure of it?
What do you think?
I am not sure if it makes me look top heavy. I do like the casual look though so feel it fits with that. It will also go nicely with my Topshop leigh jeans as they are quite high waisted and I also have some high waisted denim hotpants that it would go with in the summer (also from Topshop) - I am a massive Topshop fan!
If you read my previous post, you will remember that I also ordered a pinky red speckled tee which I will feature in another post very soon. However for now I would love to know what you think of this little ensemble and whether you agree about the top or think it looks ok?
Was I right to take the plunge with a cropped top??
