It has been well over a week since my last blog post and it feels like I haven't written in ages!! The reason for my little break was so I could mull over some ideas in my head and get on with things around the house to make it even more comfortable and feel more like home.

We finally finished unpacking the rest of the boxes at the weekend and got the spare room into shape (naturally this room is where the boxes were stored) This made me very happy because the spare room is my new study complete with desk and chair for my laptop so I feel very professional and am finally sitting in a decent position to do my work. It is also a TV room so if I feel the need to disappear away from the endless sport being played on the TV, I can! Bliss....

We have decided agaisnt a sofabed for this room and will buy an airbed at some point next year so that people can still stay if they wish to. The room still has a long way to go yet but it looks so much better already. (Yay!!)

Other than that we really haven't done too much, the house has taken up most of our time! At this time of year though it is quite nice to be cosy and warm indoors though...even if does mean having to unpack!
