New Ink.

On Saturday the hubby and I went to get ourselves some new ink in the form of eachothers initials and our wedding date, which we had tattooed on our left forearm. We have been wanting something done to mark our special day ever since we got married last year and as our first anniversary loomed I said to Patrick that my gift could be the matching tattoo's as I had an idea of what we could get done. He had a similar idea in his head for them too which was spooky and we both wanted to get them in the same place on our left arm so knew we had to get them and we are really glad we did!

I know not everyone likes tattoo's but I love them. All of mine are very significant and mark a special or memorable time in my life which is why they mean a lot to me. Some people get them just because they want one and see a design they like or others like them but would never get them. Other people just don't like them at all. Each to their own is what I say! Everyone is different, that's what makes the world go round.

People often say I should think how they will look on my body when I'm old which is fair enough but if I thought about getting old with every decision I made I wouldn't do half the stuff I have done. Besides I am not planning on becoming a quiet old maid! Tattoo's are part of who I am whether I'm 27 or 67. I don't think I will be the only one sporting tattoo's in old age either!

NEW INK: My anniversary tattoo.
