As the autumn season nears and today marks exactly three months until Christmas day (Oh no!) the savvy amongst us have either started their christmas shopping already or are planning to with their October salary.

It may seem too early to mention the dreaded 'C' word but we all know how quickly three months goes...especially when you think that it's technically only three (if you're lucky) pay days away. Aaaarrrrrggggghhhhhh!!!

Last year I did start shopping about this time of year and then stopped as felt I was ahead of the game, before I knew it December was here and there was still quite a lot to get! Despite the last minute panic I was proud of myself for starting early so this year intend to start out exactly the same way when I get paid this Friday and just keep on top of it this time!!! It is hard though and hard to start planning what to get. Especially for younger family members.

It is going to be a bit of a struggle in some ways what with wanting to buy new stuff for the house but it is much better than last minute rush and expense.

Let's just hope I stick to it this time!
