Seriously guys, if you are counting the pennies at the moment I really cannot recommend enough how good discount stores are for everyday shopping items. This morning the hubby and I went into town to try out a new one out that has recently opened there and got so many branded household items and toilteries for so much less than we usually pay at the supermarket. We were shocked! Put that together with the purchases we then made at the greengrocer, today we have saved ourselves a small fortune.

From now on I think we will make more of a conscious effort to go this shop to buy the type of items we bought today because of how cheap they were. After all, who wants to spend a big chunk of their hard earned money of bleach, cleaning stuff, shampoo, air freshners and and all of those other bits and bobs that we need and hate running out of! Tables sauces were about 60p cheaper and multipacks of crisps were under a £1, a well known brand of shampoo and conditioner we bought came to £3 when in the supermarket they come to over double that. Teabags were a couple of pound cheaper too.

I really recommend giving it a go. I'm so glad we did.
