Just keep searching...

So, the job search continues...

Trailing through the job websites, signing up for emails and asking about as to whether anybody knows of any positions going anywhere.

It really seems that if there are no other jobs out there there are always sales jobs available...lots of them in fact however that is NOT my cup of tea.

I couldn't sell ice to an eskimo....A black cat to a witch...

I have touched on sales in a previous job role I had and it made for a miserable working environment in my opinion. For some it is a great way to make extra money and they have no issue with the script you need to follow and the targets you have to meet. For me I found it hard work, awkward and pressurising.

I don't mind hard work or a little pressure so long as it is realistic and necessary but in the end, I found the targets unrealistic and the employers unsympathetic as to why you were unable to reach them.

It can be very trying and it's hard to keep positive about it all sometimes but you have to. You have to remember Rome wasn't built in a day and you will find something eventually.

Persistence is the key.

(She says after a morning of grumpiness, moodswings and moping - Yes, I am learning the hard way).
