Mask-erading on a Saturday night.
So here we are, the start of another week with another weekend having flown by. On a positive note, the sun is shining and it looks as though it will be staying sunny throughout the week which is always nice!(unless the weather turns for the worst by the weekend of course, that's never good!) It was harder getting out of bed this morning what with the clocks going forward and it once again being dark at 6am.

I had a lovely weekend as for once, my hubby didn't have work or a football match Saturday so we got to spend a lot more time together. We went for a long walk in the sun, then came home and had some lunch and a chill out on the sofa before getting ready to go to our friends mum's 50th birthday.
The party was a masquerade theme so you had to wear a mask which was quite funny! When we got there it was hard to fathom out who was who (well especially for me and my bad eyesight!) I found myself randomly smiling at people thinking I might know them or waving at people if they waved!

Everyone looked grerat in their masks though and I thought it was a really good theme idea! Also, I liked that there was a band playing rather than having a DJ - it made it a bit different!
Needless to say, everyone's masks ended up on the table towards the end of the night, everyone's that is except our friend Keeley's as she kept hers on all night. Well done my love! Bet it was imprinted in your face for hours after! ;)
